Dr. Luis did an excellent job on my horse, Sunshine! I am very grateful for him. This is my first and only horse- and he helped me so much answering all my questions! Also Tracie is actually why I decided to take my horse to Alamo Area Veterinary Clinic! When I found out Sunshine needed 3 different procedures, I called and talked to several Veterinary's explaining what Sunshine needed and Tracie was the most helpful and informative on the phone with me.

This is a great place to take your pet. The staff is friendly and helpful. They tell you what Is needed for your pet and they don’t try to sell Things that isn’t needed just because they can. They answered all my questions before the dental cleaning/tooth removal for my little dog and made sure that I had a good understanding of the procedure. The staff was very friendly and made me feel it ease, leaving my pet with them. I love that they called and checked on him the week after the procedure and answered questions that I had at that time too. There are closer places that I can take my pet but I go to Alamo area veterinary clinic because I like it the best!

This practice is probably my favorite, and we have been to many vet offices over the years, even overseas as a military family. The amount of empathy from the entire staff is something you cannot easily find when it comes to caring for your furbabies. Leading up to our farewell with our sweet boy, they were able to accommodate countless appointments last minute, always answer the phone, along with all my tedious questions. Dr Garza and all the wonderful vet techs (who are so easy to talk to) will treat your babies like their own, getting right down on the floor with you to address any and all concerns. Even the front desk staff are wonderful. Thank you for making such a difficult time in our lives a little easier. I’m so glad our newest stray pup we took in will still be under your care moving forward. Keep doing what you do, y’all.

This is by far the best and most affordable vet in bexar county. The Dr's are amazing and all the staff is very kind and you can tell they care about your animals. My dog recently got attacked and my out of pocket was half of what I expected it to be. I was recommended to them and am forever grateful. They are all awesome!!
