Tried several other vet clinics in San Antonio before finding Dr. Baker. We’ve been seeing her for quite a few years now and won’t ever go to another vet as long as we’re in the San Antonio area. This clinic is always worth the drive to Castroville. The staff is always friendly, service is efficient, and Dr. Baker is the most kind-hearted vet who takes her time to present you with all your options so you can make informed decisions regarding the care of your pets.

I highly recommend this highly professional caring clinic from the outstanding staff, front desk gals and Dr. Baker. Brittany is an awesome vet tech and so sweet and caring with all my pups. Thank you all from Demi, Ginger, Perdy and our new addition Callie.

Cares about you and your pets! They will do right by you and listen to your needs!
I’ve used this facility for over 13 years. (2 horses, 2 cats, 3 dogs) Dr. Louis doesn’t just treat you and your horse like a number. He’s compassionate and caring about your feelings for you and your equine family and will work with you for the best options for you horse and your budget. Dr Baker takes the time to listen about your small animal needs. She’s the only vet in town I trust for my 20 year old cat. I know when the time comes to make the tough decision about Brock’s future it will be met with caring staff. Speaking of staff, Tracy is the most amazing receptionist ever. Always polite and friendly. She’s quick to assist in getting me to the right person ASAP in emergencies.

I have been taking my miniature labradoodle to this Vet practice since she was a pup– for almost 8 years. I live in a retirement community (Blue Skies of Tx) just 9 miles from Castroville, TX. Criteria I have always looked for in a Vet practice: my sense of confidence in the Vet’s skills, low staff turnover in the practice, and observed skill of the vet techs. They met those criteria. If you are expecting a comfortable waiting area, you won’t be satisfied. This is (or was) a rural area when we moved here. If you are relocating to the I-90 W corridor heading to Castroville, this practice should be your first stop.
